Tuesday, 19 Muharram 1431 Recommended Prostrations For Reciting The Holy Qur'an.
There are fifteen places In the Quran where prostration is recommended once a Muslim recites any of those verses. This applies whether one is reciting the Quran in prayer or outside prayer. He has to stop reciting and prostrate himself. Along with the usual tasbeeh, a Muslim is recommended to say in Arabic: "O Allah! Accept this from me as You accepted it from your slave Dawood."
For the benefit of Muslims here are the different verses where prostration is recommended. We will start in order from the beginning of the Holy Quran to the end:

Tuesday, 19 Muharram 1431 Etiquettes of Reading and Handling the Qur'an al-Kareem
It is unlawful (Haraam) for someone not in the state of wudu to carry a Qur'an, even by a trap or in a box, or touch it, whether its writing, the spaces between its lines, its margins, binding, the carrying strap attached to it, or the bag or box it is in.
The opinion expressed in Fiqh al-Sunnah that it is permissible to touch the Qur'an without ritual purity is a deviant view contrary to all four schools of jurisprudence (fiqh) that is Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali and is impermissible to teach (except to teach that it is deviant).
It is permissible to carry books of Sacred Law (Shari'ah), hadith, or Qur'anic tafsir, provided that most of their text is not Qur'an.
One should not use saliva on the fingers to turn the pages of the Qur'an.

Tuesday, 19 Muharram 1431 Guidelines for Hifz Students
Introduction
All praise belongs to Allâh Ta'âla the creator of the universe and may His choicest blessings be upon His Final Prophet, Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam.
After taking a general survey of those students involved in the momentous task of memorising the Holy Qur'ân, I was quite stunned to find that many a student was perplexed when it came to the memorising of his lessons. This spurred me on to writing this booklet which I named 'Perfume of perfumes for the Huffaz Al Kirâm' by the inspiration of my companion Hafiz Ziyâd Jogee. (May Allâh grant him a long life filled with piety and good health).
The Qur'ân is my light. Obedience to the commands of Allâh is my right The way of Nabi Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam is my life day and night. May Allâh make every hafiz one who is upright.
May Allâh accept this booklet and make it one of benefit to all the huffaz al kirâm.
Servant of Allâh Arshad Cassim Dar-al-Qur'ân, South Africa

Tuesday, 19 Muharram 1431 n the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
An Introduction to the Science of Tafseer
by Mufti Shafi Uthmani.
The literal meaning of tafseer in the Arabic language is to open or to explain, interpret or comment. Technically, the science of tafseer is a branch of knowledge in which the meanings of the Quran are explained and its injunctions and wisdoms are described openly and clearly. (al-Burham) Addressing the Holy Prophet, the Glorious Qur'an says:
We revealed the Qur'an to you so that you explain to the people what has been sent down to them (16:44).
The Holy Qur'an also says:
Surely, Allah did a great favour to Muslims when He sent a Messenger to them from among them who would recite His verses before them and purify them and teach them the Book and the Wisdom (3:164).
Keeping this in view, it should be noted that the Holy Prophet did not only teach the words of the Quran, but he also explained these in details. This is why, on some occasions, the revered Companions had to devote years together in learning a single Surah; details will, Insha-Allah, appear later on.
